$50 youth pricing extended to U23
One of our key goals for RBC GranFondo Silicon Valley is to harness the power of cycling as a force for good in empowering our kids in local communities. The event is partnered with three outstanding Bay Area non-profits who work to do exactly that – BizWorld, The Specialized Foundation and Positive Coaching Alliance.
To further align with these efforts and thanks to feedback from the local community, we have taken the decision to extend our youth pricing policy of $50 to U23 – moving from the previous mark of U19.
We hope that this change will allow more younger cyclists to experience high-quality cycling events and boost their motivations to stay fit and live healthily.
These updates have been made live immediately in our registration platform.
We are also please to confirm that all U23 riders who now benefit from $50 entry will still be eligible to receive their Jakroo event jersey. The jersey is RRP of $145 and riders can input their size during registration.
All riders will receive a blue (Alta Classe) or black Jakroo kit in 2019 with their registration
Please note the deadline for letting us know your jersey sizing is May 8, 2019 – after this date we will do our best to order for predicted registrations up to event day as the manufacturer order date is a firm 6 weeks before the event and cannot be changed.
