How fast do I need to ride to qualify for the 2020 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships?
With the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships coming to British Columbia in 2020, many riders who roll up to the start line on September 7thwill do so with the goal of finishing in the top 20% and qualifying to ride the World Championships.
To help give this goal some perspective, we looked at the finishing times from 2017 and 2018 to see where the top 20% time cut off fell in each of the official UCI age categories. These times aren’t a guarantee of finishing in the top 20% this year, but hopefully they’re a good starting point to set your finish time goal.
