Jim Cuddy to highlight this year’s post-ride party at Whistler Celebration Plaza

This year, we’re really amping up the post-ride festivities with a Whistler Celebration Plaza party fit for a 10^thedition!

Famous Players Band, probably the best damn live band in Canada, will be playing two sets in Whistler, including a set with very special guest Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo.

Jim will also be singing O Canada before the start in Stanley Park with fellow legend Barney Bentall, and in-between he’s going to be riding the full Gran Fondo as well. Not a bad effort!

Refueling after the ride!

Thanks to Whistler Cooks, finishers can choose from one of the following stomach pleasers:

Pulled pork burger
Canadian smokies
Falafel dish
Potato salad

Along with the refueling, you gotta hydrate, right? Your post-ride drink ticket is good for one delicious Red Truck craft beer or wine from Arterra. New this year, you can also choose the soft-drink alternative of Yerba Mate.
