Earth Day – our commitment to the planet

It’s Earth Day this Sunday, April 22 and it has never been more imperative to take steps to save our earth.

At RBC GranFondo Whistler we are committed to achieving zero waste status for our event. We have taken steps to achieve this such as making the event disposable plastic bottle free and look to recycle / compost all materials whenever possible.

We are proud to be based in the city of Vancouver, which has set its goal of becoming the world’s greenest city by 2020. Biking has an important role to play in this goal as bikes are a major source of sustainable transportation.
